In a hot yoga studio, the second the room cools off, poses tighten up and the breath gets shallow. We built this infrared personal heater to hold that steady warmth in place—without drying the air or kicking up dust—so the practice stays fluid and the nervous system can settle.
What matters, technically
Infrared warmth works the way the sun does: direct radiant heat that warms people and surfaces first, not the air. This personal heater uses a carbon fiber element inside a sealed quartz tube, putting out medium-wave infrared for deep, even penetration and a soft glow without harsh glare. It pulls 800–1200W, plugs into a standard outlet, and brings heat to a focused personal zone in seconds. A built-in thermostat holds the set temperature, and tip-over protection plus a cool-touch housing keep movement around the mat safer.
Why it fits hot yoga
In hot yoga, the room needs warmth that supports the flow, not fights it. Infrared heat helps muscles stay supple, keeps circulation steady, and holds the ambient temperature consistent so you can settle into poses longer—without shivering or overheating. After class, that same gentle radiant warmth helps you drop into relaxation: skin warms, shoulders release, and the breath slows. Because the heat stays local, you get comfort right where you need it, with less energy wasted on empty corners.
The practical details
Position matters. For best results, set the heater 4–6 feet from your mat, angled slightly down toward the body, and keep it clear of towels and props. It’s built for indoor, dry spaces; if you need coverage near an open doorway, pick a model rated for outdoor or protected areas. Expect a warm surface during operation—normal, and a reminder to keep curious hands and loose fabrics at a safe distance.
