Running at 400V keeps the current draw lower than other options, which makes wiring simpler and keeps those terminals from getting too toasty.
Material & Design: Halogen, Quartz, and R7s Connection
Inside, you’ve got a halogen cycle housed in a quartz envelope. Quartz handles the shock of flipping the switch on and off again and again, and it keeps output steady. The halogen fill stops the tube from blackening early and keeps the filament temperature stable, so the heat and glow stay consistent over time. Then there’s the R7s base—straight-pin, built for high heat. It gives you a solid, two-point connection that’s easy to wire, and when it’s time for maintenance, you can swap the whole unit in a snap.
