If you&amp;rsquo;ve ever looked at a high-powered heat lamp, you know that harsh, blinding glare. Now imagine a baby in a bathtub. Their eyes are way more sensitive than ours. We can&amp;rsquo;t just blast them with light.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Taming the glare&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Standard short-wave lamps are basically light cannons. They&amp;rsquo;re effective, but they&amp;rsquo;re brutal on the eyes. To fix this, we use special coatings on the quartz tubes and filtered filaments.&#xA;It basically shifts the energy. We kill off those harsh blue frequencies and dim the visible glare. You still get that instant, cozy warmth on your skin, but the light stays soft and gentle. No squinting required.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The battle against steam&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Water and electricity are a nightmare pairing. That&amp;rsquo;s why we go for an IP65 rating. In plain English? It means the unit is dust-tight and can handle a spray of water from any angle without breaking a sweat.&#xA;We use high-temp silicone gaskets and tempered glass to lock everything down. But here&amp;rsquo;s the catch: when you seal a heater that tightly, the heat has nowhere to go. It just sits there, baking the internal wires.&#xA;To stop the unit from cooking itself, we use aluminum alloy housings. Aluminum is great at grabbing that trapped heat and dumping it into the air, which keeps the guts of the machine cool and happy.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Getting it installed (and keeping it safe)&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We designed these to be simple drop-in replacements. The connectors are standard, so you aren&amp;rsquo;t spending all day fighting with the wiring.&#xA;Just a heads-up on two things. First, the IP65 shell protects the lamp, but you still need to make sure your external junction box is grounded. In a damp bathroom, you don&amp;rsquo;t want to take any chances with leakage currents.&#xA;Second, keep an eye on the glass. If that shield cracks, your waterproof seal is gone. Give the gaskets a quick check once a year. It takes two minutes, and it beats dealing with a short circuit.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
